How do I send or request money from another Kem user?
- You can send or request money on Kem by the basic flow or by using a QR code, the basic flow is:
1. Go to Send page
2. Enter the amount you’d like to send or request and make sure it’s in the correct currency, then click on send
3. Select the person from your contacts
4. Leave a note if you’d love to, and pick a payment method
5. Click on send

- Sending or requesting money by a QR code:
If you’d like to make the transaction in person, click on scan, then scan the other persons QR code, and click on send (or request)
Is there a fee for sending or receiving payments?
There is a small fee for sending, but receiving is completely free.
What payment methods does Kem support (debit, credit, bank account)?
Kem supports Apple Pay, Debit and Credit card, your wallet balance, and deposits from external crypto wallets.
Are there daily or monthly limits on how much I can send?
We have purchasing limits of maximum $2,000 but deposited crypto. For sending more than $10,000 worth of crypto we may have to ask for more details and KYC.
Can I schedule recurring payments?
Kem does not currently support recurring payments, but you can manually send payments whenever needed.
How do I cancel a payment I’ve sent by mistake?
Once a payment is made it is final, please always double check the recipient as there is nothing we can do once the assets have been sent.
What happens if the recipient doesn’t accept the payment?
If they don’t have the app they will receive an SMS saying to download the app and that their money is waiting for them. If they don’t accept it you can take the money back into your wallet so that its not lost.
Which currencies does Kem support?
Kem supports USDT, XAUT (Gold), BTC and ETH
How do I view all my past transactions?
By going to the activity page
Why is my payment pending or on hold?
There are few reasons for pending transactions, it could be Network Congestion, Not Enough Funds in Wallet or other reasons. Please wait up to 30 minutes and if the issue still prevails contact support at [email protected].
Can I have multiple payment methods linked to my account?
Yes, you can add Multiple payment methods to your account.
Does the app charge fees for P2P sending?
No, we do not charge for sending within the app.
Can I make a transaction or a request to a Non-Kem user?
Yes, after entering the amount, and choosing the currency,

1. Click on send or request
2. Choose the person from your contacts list
3. If they’re not a Kem user, you can send an SMS invitation with the transaction / request
Can I see my transactions for a specific month or week?
Yes,

1. Go to the activity page
2. Click on the filter next to the search bar
3. Enter the time period you’d like to review, and click on apply filter
How are transaction fees (gas fees) calculated?
Fees are calculated based on the network congestion and gas prices, these can vary and are out of our control as network congestion can be elevated during certain hours.
Can I send or request money / crypto from a Non-Kem user?
Yes, after entering the amount, and choosing the currency,

1. Click on request
2. Choose the person from your contacts list
3. If they’re not a Kem user, you can send an SMS invitation with the request
Can I use Kem for international transactions?
Yes! Kem supports cross-border payments in supported currencies, allowing you to send and receive money globally.
How long does it take for a transaction to be processed?
Most transactions are processed instantly, but in some cases, it may take up to a few minutes depending on network congestion and payment method.
What should I do if my transaction fails?
If your transaction fails, check the following:

- Ensure you have enough funds in your wallet or linked payment method.
- Verify that the recipient’s details are correct.
- Check for network issues or congestion.
- If the issue persists, contact Kem support.
Can I add multiple bank accounts or cards to my Kem account?
Yes! You can link multiple bank accounts and cards to your Kem account for flexible payment options.
Can I split a payment with multiple people?
Yes, you will just have to request each of the people individually.
What happens if I send money to the wrong person?
Transactions on the blockchain are irreversible. If you send funds to the wrong recipient, you’ll need to contact them directly and request a refund. If you suspect fraud, contact Kem support immediately.
Is there a way to track my pending transactions?
Yes, you can view all pending transactions in the activity page, where you’ll see their status and estimated completion time.
Does Kem offer refunds for completed transactions?
Kem cannot reverse transactions once they are completed. Refunds are at the discretion of the recipient. If there’s an issue, contact support.
Can I send money to someone without a Kem account?
Yes, you can send a payment link via SMS, email, or social media to a non-Kem user, inviting them to sign up and receive the funds.
What happens if a crypto transaction is stuck or delayed?
Blockchain network congestion may cause delays. If your transaction is pending for an extended period, contact support for assistance.
